Inspired by the many instructional, how-to or self help books, the exhibition "out of book" completes a collection of pages that recontextualizes a larger question about personal struggle. Designed with display type fonts, these works present the so-called solutions that to often contradict real success. Issues with sexuality and religion, to cultural issues regarding weight loss, these pieces begin to complete the ultimate book while at the same time present the ability to be read and reflected upon at the same time.
